Do you have internet access?

The building remains closed to the public, but WiFi access is free and available to all. WiFi can be accessed from both our parking lots and outside the building.

Who can get a library card?

Massachusetts Residents

Adults may obtain an Edgartown Public Library card with Massachusetts ID.  If you do not have a Massachuetts driver's license or liquor license, we will accept a rental lease with a 7-month or longer committment.

A child may obtain an Edgartown Public Library card with permission from a legal guardian that has proof of residency.

Non-Massachusetts Residents

Anyone who is listed as a property owner in the Martha's Vineyard Times list of propery values or who can show proof of ownership is entitled to a free library membership.

Any non-Massachusetts resident who does not own property on Martha's Vineyard may purchase an Edgartown Public Library card for an annual fee of $10.
